It is with such excitement that LA Hair & Makeup by Ashanta Artistry has a new home!
I loved my downtown LA location it was such a sexy gorgeous building with amazing amenities and community. If I had the privilege of hosting you at my studio recently you know what I’m talking about. The Kombucha and beer on tap, the espresso and endless snacks, the elevated furnishings and fixtures was TOP NOTCH and will certainly be missed. BUT it’s time for this artist to spread her wings AND get some FREE PARKING.
What’s so great about this new space is I will be able to add a new service that I have been longing to incorporate into my artistry. Bridal Portraits. I have been dabbling with photography for about 3 years now and have always wanted to get behind the camera. I’ll share some samples of what Ive been working on in a separate post dedicated to this new service offering. A little teaser for you is my bridal portraits will be: stylized, studio bridal portraits creatively capturing bridal beauty. This new location will allow me the space and ability to offer this service full on and to expand my creativity. I am VERY excited.
The new address is 1667 N Main St. Los Angeles, CA 90012. You might be thinking WAIT that’s still downtown, BUT trust me this location is MUCH easier to get to and from. It’s about 10 minutes BEFORE the actual traffic headache of DTLA and did I mention there’s FREE gated and street parking. It’s about 500ft from one of my favorite restaurants and bars, Majordomo and Apotheke and I’ve scoped out some really cute coffee shops and diners around the corner as well.
For all of my headshot clients that come to me for prep and gos before their sessions the NEW studio location is even closer. Photographers like: Leah Huebner, Matt Kallish, Matt Marcheski, and Jonny Marlow are even closer. And it’s not too far from Stephanie Girard or Ben Cope. So coming to my studio for a prep and go before your headshot appointments with any of those photographers will be a breeze.
I have been saying for all of 2024 that “a shift is afoot” and it’s been a wild ride patiently waiting for life to unfold in my favor. Afterall life is happening through and for me, not TO me. I am grateful for the changes thus far and looking forward to being a witness to blessings awaiting me and I’m so grateful for everyone who’s part of the ride.
