I personally love my water distiller because it’s the most economical way to purify my water. It’s a couple of hundred dollars upfront BUT not filters keep track of and change. Distilled water is the water that should be used for all appliances needing water and to remineralize for drinking you can either buy trace minerals twice a year OR just use sea salt. Castor oil is said to keep you young and healthy. People have been ingesting and using topically for a long time. It is said that t helps with healing, detoxing and inflammation. Lately it has grown popular as an aid to grow hair. It’s not complete sure if the castor oil is growing the hair or just balancing your insides allowing your body to use its energy for hair growth. I am no doctor so do your research and draw your own conclusions and see where Castor oil can fit in your routine.
I love this cleaner and have been using it for years. It’s clean simple easy and not harsh. I use it morning and night. At night I use it after I let my makeup and the dirt from the day loosen up under my Parsley oil cleaner from Aesop. It’s a wonderful combo. No residue, all my makeup is off and my skin isn’t dried out and crusty.
Another great oil I LOVE mixing into my face oil. Ok let’s talk Squalane. Back in the day it was SqualEne and came from shark liver. Sounds gross but let me tell you, BABY’s BOTTOM skin. Now we know poaching sharks for skincare is bad, so we’ve switched to getting the same molecular components from plants; insert SqualAne. Hydration, anti-aging, feels amazing, nourishing and locks in all the moisture your skin would otherwise lose throughout the day. Keeping those cells PLUMP.

Ok so I’ve also used this on set for wind and it works great! I dont have much experience with Kimo in the power tool department at home, so not sure how it will stand the test of time BUT for the price point, it might be worth it.
If I could only take one skin care essential with me on a desert island it would would be vitamin E. Again, do your own research but it’s just good. Try to get ONLY tocopherol acetate (vitaminE) there’s no need to blend it with anything else unless you’re doing the blending. Yes, it’s very thick, I tend to use it only at night as my nighttime eye cream.
One of the oils I always add to my at home DIY facial oil. Warning is doesn’t smell great so be sure you either sleep alone or mix with other yummy selling notes. This oil is Rich in vitamin A and omega fatty acids as well as antioxidants to fight free radicals trying to make us look old and also encouraging cell renewal and turnover without drying out the skin.
Ok this is the base oil!! Meaning you’ll have more apricot seed oil than any one other oil in your mixture. It’s the foundation. Not thick, not slimy to the touch so great for day or night. It’s nourishing and hydrating. There is a difference between moisturizing and hydrating and apricot seed oil is hydrating. It’s a great carrier oil meaning it will take the goodies from other oils with it into the deeper skin layers and the smell is light.Used topically, Apricot Kernel Carrier Oil moisturizes dry, sensitive skin and smooths out blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, and other symptoms of maturing skin. If you’re starting out making your oils start here. Just Apricot seed oil and some vitaminE. Once you see how well that goes you can start exploring.
